Reading : Introductory
The teacher introduces the issue and the assignment. Students are asked to conduct research and read articles regarding bullying. Students are asked to form a group at this stage.
Speaking : Interviews
Students are asked to interview the victims of bullying and bring in their insights to discuss with the class. Students are also asked to create a bully map identifying where bullying occurs most often.
Speaking : Brainstorm
Students are asked to brainstorm ideas, in the form of mindmaps or other media, and discuss their ideas with the class.
Writing : Proposal Draft
The teacher provides resources for proposal writing and peer review. Students are asked to submit a draft of the proposal. As a class, students conduct a peer review and collect feedback.
Writing : Conference
Students are asked to bring in their revised drafts and meet with their instructors to go over the drafts. Students will be asked to conduct a SWOT analysis of the drafts with the guidance from the instructor.
Speaking : Final Presentation
After a conference with the instructors, students are asked to revise and submit the final proposals to the instructor. Students are then asked to present their proposals to the class in form of formal presentation.
